Kraken Latin: Students in the logic stage are no longer content just to memorize chants and vocabulary—they are ready to master the systems that make Latin the most approachable of the classical languages, and to dive into the stories that make it the most legendary language. This text contains grammar lessons on all the indicative tenses, demonstratives, and personal pronouns, weekly worksheets and readings, fun activities, and much more. Students progress towards reading "real" Latin by integrating adaptations and translations from the Vulgate, Roman history, fun original stories, and classical myths.

Cambridge Latin: This Latin immersion text incorporates history, culture, grammar and literature. Students begin reading and understanding Latin from the very beginning as they work their way through a text which serves as fictional but realistic novella about historical Roman characters. Students develop a relationship with the characters and are left always wanting to learn what happens next. Unit 1 begins in the town of Pompeii shortly before the eruption of Vesuvius in AD 79 and follows the fortunes of the household of Lucius Caecilius Iucundus. Each chapter of the text also features fascinating facts about life in ancient Roman times, including gladiatorial shows, Roman beliefs about life after death, the work and treatment of slaves, education, local government and elections, and much more.
